Overview
Chisapaani, Nagarkot hiking trip, this three-days, two-nights hike through the Kathmandu valley is the perfect holiday getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city to reconnect with nature and peaceful surroundings. This is a fantastic method to unwind your body and mind whether you’re a resident of Kathmandu or just a visitor. After an hour drive to Sundarijal, it takes approximately 5-6 hours to reach Chisapani by the walking climb a sequence of stone-paved stairs track. The hike winds through Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park, passing through forests dotted with orchids and pine trees, as well as natural springs that supply Kathmandu with its main water source and, a Tamang community village at Mulkharka.

Itinerary
Day 1 : Drive to Sundarijal and Trek to Chisapani (2,300 meters/ 7,545 feet). 5-6 hours Take an hour drive to Sundarijal, which is located on the valley's northern edge. From here, travel through the dense forests of Shivapuri National Park, passing through verdant patches of forest to arrive at Mulkhara. To get to the village of Chisapani, climb a sequence of stone-paved stairs that are surrounded by dense forest. Explore the village after you arrive and take in the expansive vistas of the surrounding area. A never-ending sequence of rolling hills in one direction and infinite rows of snow-capped peaks in the other. Take enjoy breathtaking vistas as the sun sets.
Day 2 : Trek to Nagarkot (2,175 meters/ 7,135 feet). 4-5 hours Get up early, find a vantage point, and enjoy the breathtaking views of the rising sun. The hike begins after breakfast. traveling through the area's verdant, dense forest. After hiking for almost 2.5 hours, you will arrive in the settlement of Chauki Bhanjag. Head on the route after a little break and a lunch break with breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Proceed next on a path that descends in the direction of Nagarkot. Eventually, after almost two hours, you will arrive in Nagarkot. After you get at Nagarkot, walk outdoors to take in the stunning scenery as the sun sets. You would be able to view many different Himalayan mountain ranges if the weather cleared.
Day 3 : Trek to Changunarayan 3-4 hours. And Drive to Kathmandu Enjoy breathtaking views of the sunrise by rising early. Eat breakfast after taking in the vivid sights. Next, take a little trek in the direction of Changunarayan. The majority of today's hike is downhill, passing through many communities and verdant areas of forests. After three to four hours of climbing dusty trails, you will ultimately arrive to Changunarayan Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Said to be the earliest temple in the valley, Changunarayan was constructed in 323 AD by King Hari Datta Varma. It is ornately embellished with sculptures and carvings. Admire the views of Bhaktapur and Sankhu village from the temple. Proceed to your lodging after touring the temple's surroundings and the Kathmandu Valley. This signifies the journey's finish.

Accommodation and Meals
2 nights twin sharing accommodation in a tea house (trekking guest house) with meals, (Break fast, Lunch, Dinner and Tea/ Coffee) on full board. The tea houses along the trekking route provide basic but comfortable accommodations, with twin sharing rooms available. These tea houses also offer a variety of delicious home cooked meals to keep you energized throughout the day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Additionally, you can enjoy hot drinks such as tea or coffee to warm up after a long day of trekking.
Travel insurance
